Veterinarian

NVA Canada was founded by a veterinarian, so when it comes to veterinary medicine—we get it.

We offer medical autonomy to practice your way, along with offering you support to focus on what you do best. That means resources, information, equipment, and whole-person support. NVA Canada prioritizes serving you through servant leadership, and leaning into our values in all that we do.

We’re passionate about offering varying levels of veterinary roles, giving you room to grow and thrive as a DVM. From leadership roles as Managing Veterinarians to Associate roles, Locums and everything in between there are many ways to contribute to and grow with the NVA Canada community.

Externships

It’s your clinical year, and NVA Canada is here to offer you a home for your externship. We’re excited to provide an externship stipend program allowing you to get the clinical experience you need; make the connections you want and provide a stipend to offset your travel and living expenses.

Health of Healers Retreat

Health of Healers is a four-day retreat that supports site and operational leaders to recharge, ground themselves, and renew their focus, in a beautiful, and relaxing environment. Participating at Health of Healers is a unique opportunity to join colleagues from other NVA Canada locations and learn best practices for creating a healthy and sustainable lifestyle so that you can be at your best.

“I can’t say enough about this amazing program. Self-care is essential to our overall wellbeing. It first started with supporting our animal caregivers however it turned out to be much more. Our journey of self-discovery of learning our “why” is instrumental to our everyday life – in and out of clinics.” -Kerri C
